Shoes Going Into The FW16 Season

A solid rotation of shoes can be a huge game changer. With fall and winter season approaching, having a nice selection of shoes to choose from can be a huge help when putting together your outfits.

White Sneakers

There are great white sneakers from all different price points, in which the quality improves with the more that you pay. Quality varies from the brands that you choose from. The nice thing about a pair white sneakers, is that no matter what your price point is, you can relatively get the same look.

When choosing which white sneaker you want to purchase, you will have a ton of options. Some good choices are Vans, Converse, Adidas, Nike, COS, and Common Projects. Choosing from these six brands, will give you a wide variety of price points ranging from $40 – $400 dollars.

Personally, I have met in the middle of those and have a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths, and Nike Air Force ones. Both retailing for roughly $80 – $100 dollars.

Trainers are great to have because they allow you to have something fun on your feet. There are tons of options to choose from, so it is really up to your personal taste. Price points do vary, but due to them being extremely versatile, it is best to look around, and choose your favorite after browsing.

Due to almost every shoe brand creating some type of trainer, you will get bombarded with options. If you are picking up your first pair, sticking to New Balance, Nike, Saucony, and Adidas is a good rule of thumb. Price points for all four options vary from $60 – $200 dollars.

There are a variety of popular silhouettes from each brand.

Nike: Roshe Run, Air Max, Air Presto

Adidas: Ultra Boost, NMD, Tubular, Yeezy 350

Saucony: GRID, Shadow

New Balance: 574, 990, 988, 791, 501

A good pair of boots is a definite staple for the fall and winter seasons. Similar to a white sneaker, and trainers, you have a lot of options to chose from.

First, you will want to chose what type of boot you would like to purchase. If you’re looking for options for the next fall and winter season Chelsea and Moc Boots would be solid choices. For each of these boots, you have a lot of options to choose from.

Everyone wants the best quality. However on a tight budget, I recommend staying within these brands.

As far as chelsea boots go, I recommend sticking with ASOS. ASOS is an online retailer that stocks a ton of brands, but also has their own clothing line. You are able to pick up a pair of suede leather chelsea boots from them for roughly $80 dollars. If you are on less of a budget try Saint Laurent and Common Projects. Both brands sell a very high quality chelsea boot for roughly $500 dollars.

Moc Boots are a timeless boot that will never go out of style. When picking up a pair of moc boots, I encourage sticking with two brands. Wolverine and Red Wing, both brands make great quality boots that are made in the USA. You are able to pick up a pair of Wolverines anywhere from $90 – $150 dollars, and a pair of Red Wings anywhere from $175 – $300 dollars.

If you’re looking to get the best bang for your buck, I recommend using resale websites. Check out sites like Grailed and Ebay when shoe hunting.
